Former Senior Director of Apple to Lead Marketing for Bridges

Kelowna, BC -- Bridges.com Inc. (TSX:BIT), North America's leading provider of career and educational planning solutions, today named Patricia Montgomery as the company's new Executive Vice President of Marketing.

Montgomery has worked in the U.S. education and e-learning market for more than 15 years. She will strategically market and brand the company and its products, helping expand Bridges' business in the K-to-12 career and education planning and the adult career transition markets, deliver Bridges' products to new markets, and position new products in Bridges' core business.

In her role as EVP Marketing, Montgomery will direct all marketing operations across the company. She will be based in Palo Alto, California.

Prior to joining Bridges, Montgomery was part of Apple Computer's development from 1986 to 1997. Her most significant role was as Senior Director of Apple Computer's World Wide Education Market Division, where she created a globally integrated marketing message and team that produced $300 million in new sales in 1996 and 1997. Montgomery also held Senior Vice President roles at Thomson Publishing, first in sales and marketing for four higher education operational units and subsequently as part of the executive team that developed and delivered Thomsonlearning.com.
