- I'm being prompted for a password to install the Ability Profiler. What is it?
The password to install the test can only be found in the Ability Profiler Installation Guide.
- Users are trying to open the Ability Profiler and they get an "Error 106" and the computer seems to lock up.
This problem has been found in Windows 2000 workstations when using the 1024 x 768 resolution with Large Font size. If you still want the larger font size, change the resolution to 800 x 600 and select Small Font or Normal.
- The Ability Profiler was installed after the Choices program was installed, but it's not showing up under Assessments on the Choices Start menu.
Have the technician confirm that the Ability Profiler was installed into the Choices program folder on the network server or on the workstation. Once this has been confirmed, the administrator can go into the Choices System Manager, choose Customize the Start Screen and select the Ability Profiler box so it displays on the Choices Start menu.
