Bridges Transitions

Dear Bridget

October 2007

Dear Bridget

I just started using Choices Planner again with my students, and I've noticed that a couple things look a little different from what I remember.  Is it just me, or have you made changes?

Sincerely,

Ally Uss

Dear Ally,

No, you're not imagining things. Every year around this time, Bridges likes to shake things up a bit by enhancing our products with a few cool new features. Many of these enhancements are based upon customer requests. In fact, maybe some of the changes were requested by you!

To help you get the most out of everything Choices Planner has to offer, we are hosting a few complimentary "What's New" webinars. Space is limited, so if you're interested in learning how to use all of these new goodies, I suggest you sign up now!

OK, here is just a tiny little taste of what's new...

  • Career Cluster functionality - Now there are all kinds of great tools to help students build meaningful plans based on the 16 Career Clusters.
  • Attach documents to portfolios - Sure, the portfolio has always been great for storing items that live within Choices Planner. But now, students can finally upload and save all the projects they've completed outside of Choices Planner too. (Up to 30 MB worth!)
  • Insightful professional reports - Have you created your professional account yet? If so, you'll definitely want to check out some of the new professional reports we've added to help you track and monitor student progress.

I could go on all day about everything that is new for Choices Planner, but I'm sure you've got lots of other important stuff you should be doing. So I'll let you tend to that student heading towards your desk, and if you want to find out what else is new (and believe me, there's quite a lot) you can see for yourself at www.bridges.com/whatsnew.

Until next time!

Sincerely,
--Bridget
