Dear Bridget, My students loved your last video contest. We watched all the finalists online and found them inspiring and entertaining. My students learned a lot! Are you planning to run the contest again? We have some great ideas brewing. Sincerely, I.M. Ready |

Dear I.M., I am glad to hear your students learned something from our previous finalists! In fact, learning is a big part of the theme for our new contest. We know your students have learned a lot in the last few years. We want to see proof of what they've learned and how that knowledge could help others. What would they do differently if they had a second chance? This is their opportunity to use those lessons to help others reach their goals. And what better way to kick their motivation into high gear than a chance to win up to $2,500? All that your students need to do is create a video under three minutes in length that shows what they would do differently, if life had a rewind button. Videos must be submitted by December 4, 2009. Entries will be judged on creativity, originality and relevance. Students don't need a huge budget and state-of-the art technology. We're more interested in what they have to say. To help raise awareness about this contest throughout your school, we've created some handy resources for educators like you. You can enhance your career and technical education classes with a classroom assignment, or encourage students to take advantage of this contest on their own time with the self-directed activity. For full contest details, go to www.bridges.com/video.
