Dear Bridget,
I have always been a neat freak. My classroom is a model of organization and my desk is perfectly spotless. My students have even noticed, so it's a point of pride with me.
But I am glad they can't see my Choices Planner Professional Tools. I have to admit that my site administration is a bit of a mess -- filled with duplicate portfolios, old portfolios and "creatively named" portfolios that students made as a joke. (Let's just say that I am not laughing.)
My messy reports are starting to give me anxiety attacks! Can you help me clean them up?
Sincerely, Dusty Day

Dear Dusty,
Don't panic! We have the cleaning solution. Have you ever seen one of those television shows in which a cleaning crew digs a family out of a pile of rubble? Piles of dirty dishes and unwashed socks vanish in a neatly packaged episode. What could be simpler?
Our Site Administration's Delete and Release feature acts the same way, helping you clean up your portfolios quickly and painlessly -- no bleach required!
If you see an improper portfolio -- or a duplicate one -- you can delete that portfolio. To keep your site's usage statistics on track, we recommend releasing portfolios when students graduate or transfer to a new school. Once they are released, they will no longer be attached to your Choices license, or show up in your reports.
Released portfolios aren't just tossed in the virtual trash, however. The student can connect their portfolio to a new site using the Change Schools feature in the All About You section of their portfolio.
Your reports will be cleaner and you can rest easy knowing your improved efficiency is helping you gather more accurate information about your students' plans.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have a sudden urge to declutter my garage. Until next time!
