Bridges Signs State-Wide Agreement In North Dakota For immediate release June 13, 2005 Kelowna, B.C - Bridges Transitions Inc. (TSX: BIT), a leading provider of career and educational planning solutions, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Student Loans of North Dakota (SLND) at Bank of North Dakota (BND) to provide every North Dakota high school with access to Guidance Central (which includes testGEAR for ACT, Choices Planner and Choices Explorer), and every North Dakota middle school with access to Choices Explorer. In addition to state-wide product distribution, this sponsorship agreement also includes training for North Dakota's education professionals who will be implementing the products into the schools. Terms of the agreement have not been disclosed. "This type of sponsorship model provides tremendous value for everyone involved", said John Simmons, Chief Executive Officer at Bridges, "and we are delighted to have been chosen by the Bank of North Dakota as the provider of these very important programs for career exploration, education planning and test preparation success." "The implementation of this program illustrates Student Loans of North Dakota's (administered by Bank of North Dakota) commitment to North Dakota's education system, from middle school through high school, and ultimately higher education," said BND President Eric Hardmeyer." By enhancing our partnership with North Dakota schools we can provide teachers and counselors with important education tools, while at the same time allowing SLND-Guarantor to fulfill its obligation to educate families and students in the availability of student loans and the importance of their repayment obligation." "Providing ACT testing preparation, college and career planning resources is critical to helping students prepare adequately for their future beyond high school. When SLND at BND set out to make these resources available to North Dakota middle and high school students, we chose the Bridges products as the best tools available to meet our goal. Our contract will provide Guidance Central at 225 schools throughout North Dakota and will enable those not served by those sites to access online directly through the SLND Web site. We are thrilled at the prospect of broadening access to career and college planning among North Dakota students, and look forward to seeing the positive results," said Julie Kubisiak, Director of SLND at BND.
