What's New
Common Authentication
To simplify access and authentication to testGEAR and other Bridges products, the Unicode will no longer be necessary for students logging in to testGEAR. Students will now be able to access all their Bridges products using one common set of access codes, allowing your school to use the same printed resource materials year over year.

In order to use testGEAR, at the start of this academic year students will be required to create a portfolio (student account) using your school's site ID and password. Students will then use this account through to their graduation year.

To accommodate this enhancement, historical student data from previous years of testGEAR usage will be archived. To access the archived data, a link will be set up within TestSCOPE providing you with a read-only view of previous years' data.

Updated SAT Test
Sectional rotations have been made to testGEAR for SAT's practice test in effort to properly align with how the SAT is organized. By reflecting the order on the actual test, students will know what to expect when they take the real thing.

Updated ACT Test
Curriculum has been revised and updated within the science section to accurately align with content found on the ACT. Bridges strives to keep the testGEAR practice tests as similar to the actual exam to familiarize students with the real-life experience.

ACT Writing Component
As more and more states adopt the ACT test as their state exit exam, there has been increasing demand to include a writing component in our test prep curriculum. Although the written component is not mandatory on the actual ACT, we have added it to testGEAR for ACT for the 06/07 school year. Students who plan to take the optional writing component of the ACT will now be able to prepare for it with testGEAR.

What's New with TestSCOPE

Improved Group Reporting
Educators may now obtain greater flexibility and insight from their TestSCOPE reports with the new ability to separate students into cohorts and report by academic year. When choosing your TestSCOPE reports, you will select the report by academic year.

Student Filtering
Obtain more targeted reports. This testSCOPE enhancement allows educators to easily filter students by grad year and key word field. By entering an appropriate grad year or key word, the student report will only return information that match your selection. This provides educators with the ability to easily identify students in their classes.

Delete Accounts
For more accurate reporting and easier account management, TestSCOPE now offers the ability to remove student records permanently. Educators can mark duplicate or unwanted student accounts for deletion, then simply press the delete button and all marked records will be permanently removed.
