I'm being prompted for a password to initiate the Ability Profiler. What is it? The password to initiate the test can only be found in the Ability Profiler Installation Guide. Administrators can turn off this password protection feature, or they can change the password. This can be done within the Choices® System Manager. back to top
How long does it take to complete the Ability Profiler? Each of the six parts of the Ability Profiler is timed, for a total of 53 minutes. With the time needed to read directions, etc., most people will complete the Ability Profiler in 60 to 80 minutes. back to top
My students are not able to complete all six parts of the Ability Profiler in one class. How long are each of the six parts, and can students stop and start the test again? The testing time for each of the six parts are: Arithmetic Reasoning (20 minutes), Vocabulary (eight minutes), Three-Dimensional Space (eight minutes), Computation (six minutes), Name Comparison (six minutes), and Object Matching (five minutes). Students can stop after completing a test part. They cannot stop while in the middle of a testing part. When students go back to the Ability Profiler, it will resume to the next test part from where they left off. back to top
