Bridges.com Announces Appointment to the Board
November 9, 1999 Bridges.com is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Terry Holland and Mr. James Yeates to the Board of Directors. Mr. Holland and Mr. Yeates join Doug Manning, Ed Hall, and Chairman John Simmons on the Board. Terry Holland, President and CEO of Trimin Capital, is a Chartered Accountant. He has been President of Trimin Capital and its predecessor Trimin Enterprises since its inception in 1990 and was instrumental in developing and successfully executing Trimin's investment strategy. Over the last 15 years Mr. Holland has had extensive experience in the acquisition and financing of businesses in a wide variety of sectors including resource, real estate, manufacturing and technology. During this time Mr. Holland has worked closely with senior management of these businesses, providing both financial and strategic support. Jim Yeates is presently the Chairman and CEO of Burntsand Inc., a leading e-Business Solutions Provider. Over the past 16 years, Jim has also been Chairman and/or CEO of publicly listed Computer Innovations ($500+ million microcomputer integrator in Canada and the UK, acquired by SHL Systemhouse Inc.) and Integrated Network Services Inc. (INSINC was Canada's leading wide area network integrator until it was acquired by Sprint Canada in December 1994). Innovative, customer-focused marketing, selling, and service strategies boosted the annual growth rates of the companies that Jim has been directly involved in by more than 60 percent annually. Jim holds a Master of Computer Sciences degree from McGill University and an undergraduate engineering degree from the University of Vermont.
