Bridges.com Reports Trading to Start
on the Toronto Stock Exchange

February 14, 2000

KELOWNA, B.C. -- Bridges.com Inc. (TSE:BIT, CDNX:BIT) announces that its common shares will begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange effective February 16, 2000.

"We're pleased that Bridges.com common shares will now be traded on Canada's senior stock exchange," said Bridges.com President and CEO, Doug Manning. "Our rapid rate of growth into the North American school marketplace makes us an interesting company for those considering e-learning investments."

Bridges.com is in the career transitions business. It currently provides digital career information services to more than 12.5 per cent of the North American middle and secondary school market. That market share will double to 25 per cent with Bridges.com's pending acquisition of Careerware from ISM Information Systems Management Corporation (a subsidiary of IBM Canada).

Anticipating significant new post-acquisition revenue opportunities, the company is developing expanded services and a wide variety of distribution channels, including services for young adults in career transition.

"By combining the customer base and career services of both Careerware and Bridges.com, our company has established itself as a leader in the rapidly emerging e-learning marketplace," said Mr. Manning. "Our listing on the TSE is one more step in the implementation of our strategic business plan."

Bridges.com will continue to list its common shares on the CDNX until further notice.
