Bridges.com Completes $18-Million Financing
 March 30, 2000 Bridges.com Inc. (TSE: BIT) is pleased to announce the completion of its previously announced private placement of Special Warrants. Bridges.com issued a total of 3,250,000 Special Warrants at a price of $5.55 for gross proceeds of $18 million. Each Special Warrant is exercisable, for no additional consideration, into one Unit consisting of one Common Share and 0.5 Common Share Purchase Warrants of the Corporation. Each Common Share Purchase Warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one Common Share at a price of $5.90 at any time for a period of six months following conversion of the Special Warrants to Units. The underwriting syndicate was led by Yorkton Securities Inc., and included BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., Canaccord Capital Corporation, and Goepel McDermid Inc. Proceeds from the offering will be used to finance the Careerware acquisition announced February 8, 2000, and for general corporate purposes. "The acquisition of Careerware, supported by the funds from this financing, positions our company as the market leader in this sector and establishes a solid base for strong growth over the next few years," said John Simmons, Chairman of the Board for Bridges.com.
