Bridges.com Hires Sales Specialist for Consumer Market
May 3, 2000 Bridges.com (TSE:BIT) has hired Ross Dickie, formerly Managing Partner of Northern Computer Inc., to head up development of the new consumer sales division. Mr. Dickie has 18 years' experience in the computer sales and service industry and has recently served on the Canadian Dealer Advisory Council for VentureTech Canada. The consumer sales division will focus on the marketing of direct-use career services to individual career planners and the professionals who serve them. As manager of consumer sales, Mr. Dickie will also be responsible for introducing and developing a variety of new Bridges.com revenue streams, including advertising, sponsorship and retail sales. "Ross Dickie has the experience and skills required to initiate and develop our new consumer sales division," said Doug Manning, CEO and President of Bridges.com.
