Bridges.com Inc. (Bridges) (TSE:BIT) is pleased to announce that it has received receipts from securities regulators in British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec for its July 11, 2000 prospectus qualifying the distribution of 3,250,000 Common Shares and 1,625,000 Common Share Purchase Warrants to be issued upon the exercise of 3,250,000 Special Warrants, which were issued pursuant to a previously announced private placement on March 30, 2000.

Each Special Warrant is exercisable, for no additional consideration, into one Unit consisting of one Common Share and 0.5 Common Share Purchase Warrants of the Corporation. Each Common Share Purchase Warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one Common Share at a price of $5.90 at any time for a period of six months following conversion of the Special Warrants to Units.

Part of the proceeds from the offering were used to finance the March 31, 2000 acquisition of Careerware. Careerware's key resource, Choices, is used in over 5,000 middle and secondary schools in Canada, the United States, France and Hungary. The adult version, Choices CT, has over 2,000 non-school annual subscribers. In addition, Careerware markets several other proprietary and third-party products to schools and other sites, including a career aptitude survey, career videos, career curriculum, and eChoices - a new Internet version of their key product.
