Bridges.com CEO Named Entrepreneur of the Year in E-Business

Kelowna, BC - Bridges.com Inc. (TSE:BIT) -- North America's leading provider of career and educational planning solutions, accepted another business award last night in Vancouver, B.C. Douglas Manning, Chief Executive Officer and President of Bridges, accepted the 2001 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in the E-Business category -- Pacific Region.

The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Program, through an independent judging panel, had selected 32 finalists for their outstanding entrepreneurial talent and leadership from nominees from across the region. Last night winners were announced in each of eight categories, including Business-to-Business Products & Services; Business-to-Consumer Products & Services; E-Business; Hospitality/Tourism; Media & Entertainment; Professional/Financial Services; Software & Information Services; and Technology & Communications. Recognized as the pre-eminent business awards showcase in the world, the Entrepreneur of the Year program is celebrating its eighth year in Canada.
