(TSE: BIT), North America's leading provider of career and educational planning solutions, announces a new initiative for the sale of its award-winning Paws in Jobland CD-ROM product. Paws in Jobland has opened a new market for Bridges -- 75,000 elementary schools across Canada and the U.S. "We are launching a separate team dedicated to this market," explains Doug Manning, Chief Executive Officer and President of Bridges. "We test marketed this product last year and recognize the positive impact Paws in Jobland had on elementary school students' self awareness and knowledge of the changing world of work. The Ontario School Counsellors' Association (OSCA) awarded Paws in Jobland with the Career Education Citation." Paws in Jobland is a non-subscription product and is sold to elementary schools in CD-Rom format. One CD sells for $295 CAD, with pricing adjusted for volume discounts. For the year ending November 30, 2002 the company has set a goal to generate over $1.2 million CAD from North American sales of Paws in Jobland. "We have hundreds of elementary schools across North America currently using Paws in Jobland. In addition, the U.S. Department of Defense purchased 317 Paws in Jobland CD-Roms last year for their elementary school system around the world," explains Manning. "With the launch of a formal selling campaign to more than 75,000 elementary schools in North America, Bridges will now assist larger and younger audiences at an earlier stage in their education experience with products tailored to meet their needs. In addition, Bridges is able to further strengthen our relationship with school districts and expand brand recognition in this new market."
