Bridges Team Wins Kelowna's Corporate Spirit Award

For immediate release October 3, 2004

Kelowna, B.C - Bridges Transitions Inc. (TSX: BIT), a leading provider of products and services used by schools, universities and agencies to help people achieve education and career success, today received the Run for the Cure Corporate Spirit Award at the Kelowna Run's closing ceremonies with the biggest corporate amount raised for the Run - over $26,000.

"We raised over $15,000 for Run for the Cure back in August when we held our gigantic charity garage sale," explains Don Phillips, Vice President of Marketing for Bridges. "Bridges donated another $7,500 to the cause and our staff has also gathered pledges from friends, family and coworkers. We are thrilled to say that we collected over $26,000 for Run for the Cure and know it will help to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer."

This is the second time Bridges has received this award. Bridges won the corporate spirit award back in 2002, by raising over $16,000 that year.

"We are really proud of our employees and all they did to help in raising the money," said Phillips. "Bridges congratulates every single person that took part in today's Run. "
