Bridges has made an impressive start towards achieving its 1998 goal of $500,000 in non-subscription revenues. The Youth Employment Exchange project will use computer technology to match employers with 2,800 summer-job seekers in grade 11 and 12 across British Columbia. In addition, the CAN WIN Web site will feature a syndicated version of Bridges' Career News for the next six months. These two projects will generate $101,100 in new revenue for Bridges in Q1 of 1998.

Recent Accomplishments
· Bridges Breaks 1,000 Subscriber Mark
Bridges sales team sold 72 new subscriptions in January 98, compared with 46 that were sold in January of last year. This brings Bridges' total number of subscribers up to 1,043. It's the first time Bridges' subscriber base has exceeded 1,000.

· Sales Projections for Q1 Achieved in Second Month
Bridges projected 75 new sales for Q1 - traditionally our slowest quarter. Eighty-eight new sales have been completed in the first two months of Bridges' fiscal year (December 97/January 98). This increase in performance has been attributed to the Company's successful 'Buy-Now' program.

· Career Explorer a Hit at National Conference
The National Conference on Vocational Counselling (NATCON) gathers Canada's top career professionals from the federal, provincial and service-delivery levels. Career Explorer was a very popular resource, attracting attention from key decision-makers across Canada. Bridges expects several opportunities to emerge over the next six months from this conference.

Emerging Events and Opportunities
· Bridges continues to market its online career publishing expertise. Several groups are being approached to sponsor their own regional edition of CX. Bridges' goal for 1998 is to secure two more regional versions of CX to complement the very useful BC version.

· The date for the Annual General Meeting of Bridges has been set. On April 15 at the Grand Okanagan Hotel, the achievements of 1997 and progress in 1998 will be reviewed by CEO Doug Manning.

· Bridges is aggressively expanding market awareness of CX-98. The 1998 goal is for 8,000 sites (20 per cent of the school market) to be aware of CX by the end of this fiscal year. Bridges' sellers have contacted 522 new sites, with 350 of them electing to take a free month's access to our online service. The total number of schools now aware of Career Explorer is approximately 3,800.
