Getting Started
How to Enter
- 1) To be eligible, your video submission must show you sharing the lessons you've learned to help others succeed with their goals.
- 2) For help getting started, download the student activity or check out some of our helpful tips and tricks.
- 3) Your video must not exceed three minutes in length.
- 4) Entrants have until Friday, December 4, 2009, 11:59 p.m.
Pacific Time to:
- Upload their video to a video hosting site such as YouTube, SchoolTube, etc.
- Complete the online submission form.
- E-mail or fax us a completed copyright release form.
- If under the age of 18, entrants must also e-mail or fax us a completed guardian consent form.

Want to Enter as a Team?
Here are a few team guidelines:
- 1) Teams must not exceed five individuals.
- 2) Educators cannot qualify as team members.
- 3) One student only must be designated as the team representative.
- 4) The video producer who will represent the team must complete the online submission form, and all involved creators must sign the copyright release form. Any team members under the age of 18 must also e-mail or fax us a completed copy of the guardian consent form.
- 5) Cash prizes will be divided evenly among all team members.

Judging
Judging Phase
Our panel of judges will determine the group of finalists based on the following criteria:
- Creativity of submission (25%)
- Originality of submission (25%)
- Relevance of submission, fitting with the theme of sharing what you've learned from your past in order to help others reach their goals (50%)
Voting Phase
During the voting phase, the finalists' entries will be posted online, and the public will be invited to vote for their favorite entry. Each participant may vote one time during the voting phase. Based on the number of votes that each entry receives, awards will be given to the top three entries:
- 1st - $2,500
- 2nd - $1,500
- 3rd - $1,000
